When i'm longing for photo updates, there just aren't any until everything comes pouring in at the same time. How ironic.

It's already October, almost the end of another year but here I am still digesting September.

Here we go,
Vogue-ing our way through my last ball in Monash :)

With my ladies ;)

Jayne and I

My co-partner Kelvin (Monash Ball organizer)

My shopping, snowflake, makan, and rambling buddy- John (also my best treasurer ever)

My buddy, my love :)

Visit Facebook-the official site for Monash events for more pictures hehee

DigiColor Model Search 2009- Semifinals

And so we've come a long way. From the auditions to the training, and second interview to the semifinals.
The whole process took about 2 months.

It was a great experience and surprisingly although I wasn't chosen as a finalist, I was grateful.

Grateful and pleased because I did my best, attended the trainings, which I learned a lot. From catwalking to posing to communicating. Not forgetting the fact that I made a lot of friends. You know how people always talk about cat fights in competitions and beauty pageants. It's really nice getting to know people from all kinds of background.

This time i had to be contestant number 1.
Don't know if that's a good thing, but I guess I had the biggest pressure due to the routines that I had to remember and the music.
"Don't you make any mistakes, you're first up so take it positively."
That was what I've been telling myself.

Leading the group of gorgeous ladies

I guess one of the major setbacks is that I had to struggle with their language.
Cantonese was the main command of language between the organizers and the contestants, which I felt was unfair for the non-Chinese (i don't consider myself one of course).

Round 3: Catwalking with a Tripod
Round 4: Sponsor's clothing
Honestly didn't like the clothing and felt the urge to find them another sponsor.
Once again, I didn't have a choice but thankfully, I could swap jackets.
(you know one of those days when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, wearing someone else's clothing.)
This one in the picture belongs to me.

There we have it, the top 20 of DigiColor Model Search 2009

Look at what I found on Youtube: a video of the Cultural Night Fashion Show.
It's pretty funny :D

Sometimes it's nice looking back and reminiscing once in a while.
Woo hoo i miss wearing my saree :)

Okay, it's time to get back to my books.

But..

"the library service will terminate in 15mins time"

How ironic.

It's gotta be the saddest mid sem break, ever.
