SHOUT Awards @ Putra Indoor Stadium
A glimpse of SHOUT Awards @ Putra Indoor Stadium:
Just got back from my first award celebration (also first non concert event) at the Putra Indoor Stadium.
I used to complain how I never attended concerts before working but this year alone I've been in and out of the stadiums several times (Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Paramore,..and more to come!) XD

SHOUT Awards celebrates our local talents from all parts of the entertainment industry -film, arts, music, TV, and radio. Tonight we witnessed performances by popular artistes such as Faizal Tahir, Mizz Nina, Yuna, and many other uprising and leading indie bands.
After spending the whole afternoon out, my partners in crime to the event:
The audience were extremely hyped up knowing that the organizers are broadcasting the awards on 8tv and radio stations. I tweeted almost throughout the event (#shoutawards) until we finally became quite fed up of the advertisement breaks, broken microphones and weak sounds.
Received some comments that the tweets were funny, explaining the scenario since we were there since 6pm.
Before event started:

6 hours ago Here's a group of "screamers" and someone telling us low quality the glow sticks are "tolong jangan patahkan ya" --says the organizer before event starts -- cannot last sigh.
About 6 hours ago Briefings and mak cik cleaning the stage should be done earlier, KADAVALE -___-

Food and drinks were not allowed in the stadium but somehow no one told us, no signs showed until eventually we found out. So..we happily tweeted about how we must be the only ones munching on Super Rings and drinks at #shoutawards =D
Event starts:
Here's a video of a short opening that I managed to capture. The opening act with Maple Loo (i think that's her name, right?) supposedly the Queen of the event. Mascot, no? I don't know.
Then
Faizal Tahir opened singing Thunder, Superhero, Beat It and another song. Pretty awesome powerhouse vocals! Highlight of the night was
Mizz Nina's performance (everybody was cheering so loudly for this uprising star whose already got her songs playing internationally!). Emcees of the night:
Sarah Lian, Hafiz (from Fly fm),
and Henry Golding (winner of Hot Guy Award!).
Congratulations to all winners especially Yuna for winning the Best Pop Star, Break Out Award as well as the Ultimate Shout Award! SHE'S AWESOME!
We left the awards early to beat the jam while the rest are off to Zouk! Partay time but for me, piled up with work and pending proposals! -__-" not forgetting, the guys were hungry too (no food allowed mah..) but overall, the set up was beautiful, great job done though sounds could improve.
