Time is passing by so quickly, I can feel myself aging. Friends are getting married and I've been a bridesmaid 3 times now--they say three is the number, you will become a spinster after three.. -__-")
Bullshit, I hope this ain't true..because I want to settle down..one fine day.
Don't misunderstand, this post isn't about me ranting about how much I want to become a Mrs, but rather, this is about an interesting person I met the other day. Her name's Teresa Thian, the founder of Gallo by Thian.
She shared her designs with me, shared her story of how she used to be a Graphic design student and her love for designing clothes and pretty dresses. She recommended a few of her favourite bloggers, which I thought was amazing! And today, she owns a couple of boutiques in areas like Bangsar, Pavilion and Gardens.
I fell in love with her pastel designs the moment I step foot into Gallo by Thian especially their Spring/summer collection themed, Will You Marry Me?
She also designs her own shoes and wears her own inventions. It's almost every girl's dreams to own their own label, wear their creatively designed dresses and unique shoes and I was green with envy, literally!

It is interesting how through this job, I have met many individuals with different passions, different talents be it in fashion, food, electronics, or even money. I have learned about all the various industries, how they work, the story and start looking at things from a whole new level. I learned about Mangos being imported from the Philippines, salmon from Norway, how a dessert shop or fashion brand started from its roots, the stories of successful entrepreneurs, cars, and even milk politics.
And I'm glad. Still looking forward to more of these because after all, I am still learning.
