Summer time.
Oh how I wish but close enough :)
Thanks to Sunway Lagoon, we got invites to the Gala Premiere of London the Summer Musical.
For a moment I felt like I was in Piccadilly circus again. Walking on the streets, listening to people talking in strong British accent, singing to famous tunes.
Synopsis:
Three
American Air stewardesses arrive in London for a 48 hour stop-over. They meet three English boys who offer to
show them the sights. They pair off and
we follow each couple through song and learn that the girls used to be a
singing group. They gave up their
singing careers in America to travel and see the world.
Cute boys with British accent. Hee.
We were laughing to some of the scenes when the cast sang to well known tunes including songs from 'Glee', Ain't no mountain, I will survive, Hot Stuff, It's Raining Men, Cee lo Green's Forget you, and a lot of Abba tunes.
For a moment, I wish Danie was there because it was all songs that she would've enjoyed!
Costumes all very sexy and classy!
London the Summer Musical will officially start 1st of June onwards so do grab your tickets if you get to! :)
We had an enjoyable night just singing and grooving to the show, reminded me of the good old circus days.
By the way, I was in the midst of a long and hectic day when I got a text from a friend telling me to meet her at Sunway Pyramid.
My babe, Jessie is in town! Feels like ages since we met but a tiny pinch of effort is all it takes to keep the friendship going :)
We were talking about our next random holiday together, hopefully it will happen soon.
And on another happy note, I am going to become an aunty again! My cousin will be giving birth to her second son, Kevin and I am so excited to greet him after work tomorrow *hush little baby don't you cry* welcome to my life :)
