*I've got a surprise for you at the end of this post* :D

The last time I went groceries shopping for a major cook out was..I don't really remember. Probably about 6 months ago? So anyway we went to shop for ingredients and vegetable for dinner. Since most of us were not back in our hometowns last Sunday we pampered our stomachs with a good meal.

Started off with the dessert. It was our first time making Konnyaku jelly, honestly I wasn't sure what to expect. Cooking skill has been a little rusty because the last time was more than half a year ago.

Lychee Konnyaku Jelly

I also made Bacon roll with straw mushrooms, carrots and cucumbers.

Our Appetizer

It took us about 4 hours to prepare everything because of the chopping, shredding and plenty of fooling around in the kitchen.

While the two of us were getting busy, the others took the time to camwhore =P

We cooked mainly eastern and local dishes.

Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onions and chicken equals ABC soup!

Sambal tumis with squid

Fresh cabbage with eggs and carrots in oyster sauce. And Danie prepared her favourite potatoes with ikan bilis, chillies and onions. Tim calls it the lawyer's potato salad rofl

And because it is extremely spicy, he changed the dish name to, "Can you handle the truth?" hahah

Of course I couldn't miss corned beef. My favourite!

Our oily face and smelly hair after a hearty meal =S

But that didn't stop us from fooling around with the guitar, we started singing and recorded ourselves lol

That's our little surprise TUH DUH :D

Pardon our mistakes because we..lack practice lol..

Must be the effects of the corned beef...heh.
