how we landed our first gig
We had our first performance as a group last Saturday at Rockafellas Bar.
Funny how it all started. After catching Pixie Lott at KL Live, we headed over to Comida at Publika to continue Ray's performance that night. I was having a pretty bad day due to some insensitive people so with some courage, I went on stage to sing a song. The then manager, Paul offered a slot for the coming week, "me?? perform and gigging out like..how the bands do it?" YES, they assured me.
We will find you a guitarist and throw you on stage and you'll do a great job.
"I'm your number one fan" he said. And I smiled.
Out of the blue, Tim said he would play the guitar for me and knowing that Danie loves to sing as well, of course I had to drag her along with me because she's got a great voice!!
"Hi i'm Danie and i'm Rachel...and this is Tim"
*awkward laugh*
Funny how we got here today, story goes like this...... The End.
We even had people asking how did you land yourselves upcoming gigs even before you guys played lol
it's weird for me because after having to manage a group of boys, and having been exposed to so many performances, gigs and events, it felt really different to be the one on stage serenading the crowd.
We prepared an hour worth of songs, it felt like a mini concert and everyone who was there was very encouraging *hand palm*

It was so good to see all the special people in my life.
I used to joke about the end of the world.
"What would you do if tomorrow is the end of the world"
"I want to gather all my loved ones, friends and family all at one place."
And Saturday night really felt like that, wished mum and dad were here as well but the support we got from all of our colleagues, friends and even people we just met that night was just, very pleasant :)
