So last weekend was a wedding marathon and full of back to back travelling.

We attended our first Sangeet (bridal shower) of my close friend, Jasveen!

It was also our first Punjabi wedding, so Charlene and I was excited! Got ready as early as 5pm before we headed downtown to get my saree tied.

Thanks to Kelsey, she borrowed me two of her sarees for the reception.

Tying the saree really takes quite a while. First you wear a petticoat and your undergarment.

We also got our pottu just for fun! The lady at the salon was nice enough to give me the entire box so we could fool around.

Met many of our high school friends, it was so good to see everyone after so long!

The party lasted the whole evening and night, we danced our heart out too!

Brian's guide to Punjabi dancing:

- Pet the dog
- Screw the light bulb
- Towel dry your back

I literally burst out laughing but it worked! :D

Photos from that night:

Love you, Jas! May you and Dev be happy always and treasure one another :)
