Just a quick one before I log off, we are back from our recent Taipei trip!

Some photos that we took on our 5 days trip -

travel buddies - Yuen, Jamie and little miss!

they drive on the left side! so our brains were trying to adapt (roads are messy though!)

At one point the taxi driver asked, "Where are you from? no wonder....you came through my side of the door" when I had to sit in front -__-"

It was our first time there so naturally we weren't sure of what to expect. While it is still fresh in my head, here's what I enjoyed about Taipei-

1) The cool weather - when we got here the first day it was pretty humid.
"Feels like we travelled 5 hours from KL to...another KL" like seriously, we were expecting cold weather since it is winter but then again, we were told to prepare ourselves because the weather in Taipei is unpredictable

2) Food - generally everything taste pretty good there! The street food, Japanese (surprisingly a lot of Japanese restaurants probably because they are nearer), drinks, tea, etc.

3) Shopping! - you can go crazy at their night (and day markets) - we went to Wu Fen Pu (whole sale so it is slightly cheaper), Ximen Ding (similar to the Harajuku youth district - fresher goods), and a few other markets to shop for souvenirs and food.

Some accessories that I got-

You gotta love shopping there although it is mostly autumn/winter fashion, you can get cheap stockings and sweaters at a relatively low price.
